ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany man was treated at the hospital early Tuesday morning, after he told police he was beaten unconscious and robbed.
Around 1:15 AM at the hospital Gary Brown says he was leaving a store at Clark and Maple Street Tuesday when he was struck in the head and mouth several times.
Brown says he came to near the Flint River by the golf course. His truck was there but his wallet and phone were missing. Brown drove to the hospital where he was treated for bruises and lacerations on his head and knee.
Albany Police are investigating.
