AMERICUS, GA (WALB) - After beating Augusta in a defensive struggle Friday, the Canes were blown out at home in the Saturday doubleheader.

Augusta evened up the series in the first game with a 15-2 dominating performance. The Jaguars followed up that game with a series clinching 14-0 shutout under the light rain out in Americus.

Georgia Southwestern falls to 17-15 and 3-15 in the Peach Belt conference.

They return to play Wednesday when the Canes host Valdosta State. First pitch is scheduled for 5:00 PM.
