ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany police are asking for the public's help in finding a man wanted on aggravated assault charges.
Police are on the lookout for Mitchell Wayne Cullen. His last known address was on Rosewood Drive.
Police believe he was involved in the beating of a man named James Winchester, who was found outside Phoebe with a serious head injury earlier in the month.
Officers responded Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital on March 20, in reference to a man down call that occurred in the 600 block of West Gordon Avenue.
Winchester had been beaten up by two males in the area.
According to the medical staff, Winchester was unconscious and sustained a serious head injury.
Cullen is about 6-foot-2 and weighs 180 pounds.
