Two cars have collided near the intersection of South Slappey Blvd and Newton Road.

A wrecker truck from A-1 towing was loaded with a Toyota Camry driven by Cornelia Colley, which was struck by the black  2002 Toyota Sequoia driven by Michelle Gosha.

Albany Fire and Police responded to the accident.

Police say Gosha was traveling north on Newton Road when she attempted to make a left turn to begin traveling north on South Slappey. Officers say she failed to yield before turning left and struck Colley’s vehicle.

Colley was traveling south on Newton.  She and three juvenile passengers were transported by EMS to the hospital.

Gosha was cited with failure to yield while making a left turn and a seatbelt violation.

The extent of injuries isn't known at this time, and the air bag deployed in the SUV.
