CAMILLA, GA (WALB) -

The Easter Bunny made his way to Camilla Thursday evening.

The Fire Chief transported the Easter Bunny along the Bunny Trail in downtown Camilla.
He met with children at downtown businesses, giving them Easter eggs and taking pictures with them.
6-year-old Paris Walker said she couldn't wait to see the Easter Bunny.

"Because he gives eggs and he's white, white Bunny,” said Paris Walker.

"It's a great idea,” said Pattie Kerr, Tara’s Closet. “I think that it's a good way of showing our customers that we appreciate their business and it's a nice little thing to give back."

To encourage shoppers to visit downtown, businesses such as Tara's Closet gave customers stuffed animals and eggs with discounts inside.
