TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

A Tifton spa is in hot water for offering illegal activities for money during a massage to an undercover deputy.

Number 1 Spa on South Central Avenue was busted by undercover agents in September. Officers went back on Friday. The spa was busted for a second time in six months.

Keum Soon Lee is the latest masseuse facing criminal charges after allegedly offering an officer sex acts for money.

Another Tifton spa says behavior like this tarnishes everyone in town. "To have behavior like this in any industry, what it does, it puts a black cloud over reputable businesses. And it's ridiculous. Why can't people just follow the law," said Suzanne Griffin with Baxley Properties.

A nearby business owner says they haven't been open in two or three days. Code enforcement is looking into what to do and whether they will pull the business license or just suspend it.

The sheriff's office hasn't said much regarding the misdemeanor charges other than that they're committed to stopping this activity.

Griffin says it's something every company should already know. "All of our companies are by the letter of the law. We won't put up with anything less," said Griffin.

Code enforcers are handling the case and it's unclear when their final decision will be made.

The sheriff's office also encourages citizens to call them when they realize illegal activity like this is going.

Dougherty County Commissioners want more information before they vote on a proposed recovered materials facility in East Albany. More than 20 acres along Pecan Lane are up for rezoning as a Restricted Industrial District. The facility would be used to crush concrete and other storm debris from the nearby P&G warehouse that was destroyed by the January storms.
