ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Albany woman charged with concealing the death of her toddler appeared before Judge Baxter Howell this morning in Albany.
28-year-old Clarion Garrison faces two charges: concealing the death of another, and felony probation violation.
No bond was set by Judge Howell. She is in the process of hiring an attorney.
She was arrested earlier this month in Florida where she fled with her three children. They were found safe, following an Amber Alert.
Hours earlier, the body of Garrison's two-year-old daughter, Nyelle Garrison, was found hidden in an East Albany apartment.
Garrison had been held in the Marion County Jail in Florida until her transfer to Albany on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the exact cause of the child's death remains under investigation.
