ATLANTA, GA (WALB) -

Officials at Atlanta's airport and the Georgia Department of Public Health are working together to protect travelers from the Zika virus.

They plan to hold a news conference at Hartsfield-Jackson on Tuesday.

With hundreds of thousands of spring travelers passing through the world's busies airport, the officials will encourage concessionaires at the airport to stock insect repellent.

They'll also bring attention to the fight against the mosquito-borne illness now spreading rapidly in much of south and central America.
