ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The weather cooperated for this year's Georgia Wing Fest.

The Albany Fairgrounds were filled with people chowing down on some mouth-watering wings.

People went from vendor to vendor trying different wings, while live music was performed.

There was a wing eating contest, but the main event, at least for vendors, was the wing competition.

"It turned out to be a great day," said event organizer Marcy Schneider.  "Beautiful weather and people came out to enjoy it and help a good cause.  We couldn't be happier about it."

All proceeds benefit The Cancer Coalition of South Georgia.

WALB's own Ben Roberts was a judge for wing contest.

Billy Boys won the 'Best Hot' award and the 'People's Choice.' JC's Wings and Concessions won the 'Best Mild' award.  Tays won the 'Most Creative' award.
