ALBANY, GA (WALB) - It's not too late to sign up for Albany's Pink Walk. The two and a half mile walk with start at Meredyth Place.
Registration will start at 8 a.m. and the walk will kick off at 9:30 a.m.
All the proceeds will help support people who are going through treatment for breast cancer.
Dunkin Donuts will also be present providing fresh doughnuts and coffee.
"We learned that there was a great need through the Phoebe Foundation for patients who couldn't really afford their transportation or their medication, sometimes back rent," says organizer Denise Binns.
"I think there is a lot of people who are affected, whose families are affected by this disease. It's just wonderful when we can all get together and support it," said Dunkin Donuts District Manager Teresa Salter.
You can also buy the pinks skirts and other goodies. Those proceeds will help patients battling cancer as well.
