ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Family members of a sick Albany boy are out of work as the child's medical bills continue to mount.

Torre Trice and his Mother-in-law said they lost their jobs this week.

They've been working to support 10-year-old Brandon Williams who recently underwent a 10-hour brain surgery to stop his seizures.

Williams was recognized during the Albany Christmas Parade.

Trice said that not working will make it more difficult to pay Brandon's medical bills.

"It's a big burden. Very sad and devastating because you come back and you know you don't have nothing to come back to you know," said Trice.

Trice said he's looking for a new job.

Anyone interested in helping the family can contact Brandon's mother, Tahillary at (229) 338-0912.
