DOUGLAS, GA (WALB) - Several companies of firefighters were called to Myzel Pallet Company on Old Pearson Road around 9:00 Tuesday night. The fire was burning in the back of the warehouse, and consumed a tractor trailer, and several wooden pallets.

Two-dozen firefighters got the blaze under control and stopped the flames from spreading through the warehouse, which is owned by Daryl and Teresa Mizell.

There is no word yet on what sparked the fire.

According to the Coffee County Police Scanner page,  911 received a call of a warehouse on fire at 169 Old Pearson Highway just off the Willacoochee Highway.

The raw video (above) was provided by Coffee County Police Scanner, and Russell Flanagan.

County Fire Station Trucks 6-1, 9, 18, and 20, along with Coffee County Sheriff's Office, and Coffee County EMS were called to the scene.

When the first truck got on the scene, they radioed Fire Chief Steve Carve, letting him know the back of the Warehouse, a  tractor-trailer and wooden pallets were all on fire.

Chief Carve asked Coffee 911 to also dispatch Fire Station 19, Tanker 6, 17, 13, Coffee County Unit 6-2 and the Forestry Commission to that location.

When the nine firetrucks got on the scene it didn't take them long to get the fire under control, and save the building.
