ALBANY, GA (WALB) - After a pre-season win, the Georgia Firebirds are looking forward to an exciting start of the season.
The players continue to reach out to the community to raise support for the team.
Saturday, they were out at the bowling alley in Albany.
Georgia Firebirds Owner Terence Fowler said he's optimistic about ticket sales for the regular season.
"After the game on Wednesday, everything has picked up, everything has picked up," he said. "And we are excited about that. The players are more excited, they're more focused because they understand how big of a stage and responsibility that they have to the city of Albany and southwest Georgia."
Their regular-season home opener will be on March 26th at the Albany Civic center.
