VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

The dinosaurs are coming to Wild Adventures exclusively for the 2016 season.

On Saturday, March 12, 2016, the Valdosta theme park will open with a brand new land, Dinosaur Explore, featuring over twenty moving and roaring prehistoric creatures.

The new land will also feature a digging area where children can find buried dinosaur bones.

Dinosaur Explore is not the only new exhibit coming to Wild Adventures this season. There will also be a new South America exhibit featuring new animals like the alpacas.

The entertainment is also big this season with a concert lineup featuring Kelsea Ballerini, Andy Grammer, and Martina McBride.

Dinosaur Explore, the new exhibits, and the entertainment are all free with park admission or season pass.

The park will operate part-time during the first few weeks with hours of operation taking place Friday through Sunday and during spring break. In May, the park will operate full-time.
