SPARKS, GA (WALB) -

The Cook County Sheriff's Office confirmed that lanes are clear after a semi truck caught fire at mile marker 44 on I-75 southbound.

Hazmat crews were dispatched to the scene to help clean up oil that spilled during the fire.

Adel Fire Department said they were called to the scene around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The driver of the truck said the turbo exploded and caused the fire.

Drivers were asked to use caution in the area as crews finished cleaning up the scene.
