The Moultrie Colquitt County Humane Society will be adopting out cats on Wednesday, for free.
After their fourth annual open house last Saturday, six cats were adopted.
To continue that success, the Humane Society will continue having free cat adoptions through Wednesday.
Director Dawn Blanton said it's a good time to free up kennel space for new animals coming in.
"Right now, a lot of the females are in heat, so we get a lot of cats that come in with kittens, we get a lot of just stray kittens that come in and we get a lot of puppies," said Blanton.
The free cat adoptions will end Wednesday at 6 p.m.
