LEE CO., GA (WALB) -

Organizers for Saturday's Heroes Run are still looking for more runners. 150 runners signed up to run in the fourth annual race put on by the city of Leesburg.

Lee County Chamber, the YMCA, and Flint River Habitat for Humanity are hosting the event.

The Heroes Race is being held to raise money to build a house for a veteran in Lee County.

Organizers hope to have more than 250 runners participate on Saturday.

"The registration fee is $30 tomorrow for the last day. If we have any t-shirts you get t-shirts with that and a run bag. We have a great ceremony that's taking place at 1 before the event and we're going to have our Marines out there from the base," said Executive Director Jennifer Vantson.

Runners can register Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The race will start at 1:30 p.m. in front of the Lee County courthouse.
