VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - South Georgians are gearing up for Donald Trump's visit to Valdosta Monday.
The GOP candidate will be speaking at the athletic complex at Valdosta State University on Monday, just one day before Georgia voters take to the polls for the presidential primary.
Campaign officials hope to fill the complex that seats 7,000 people.
Trump's Valdosta headquarters was busy this morning with people dropping in to pick up t-shirts, hats, and campaign signs.
Trump's Georgia Director says the support has been great from the local community.
"We've got a good group of volunteers here in Valdosta and South Georgia and all across Georgia. And they've been working very hard. So yeah, we're really excited," said Georgia Director Brandon Phillips.
Tickets for Mondays event are free and can be reserved at Donald Trump's website.
The event begins at 6 p.m. and if you can't make it there, WALB will be covering the event.
