ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

One of the most popular basketball teams in history thrilled fans Wednesday night in Albany.

The Harlem Globetrotters played at the Albany Civic Center, they showed off their basketball and dance skills and interacted with the crowd.

The players wore throwback uniforms honoring past Globetrotters.

Fans said that watching the Globetrotters is a great experience for the family.

"I think it's nice because we don't have too much family oriented events out here that we can come to that's not provocative, so it's a good thing to bring. I wish they'd bring more," said Harlem Globetrotters fan Mechie Jackson.

The Harlem Globetrotters are celebrating 90 years of entertaining people around the world.
