Power out near Albany Airport

Power has been restored after an issue with a substation. Power has been restored after an issue with a substation.
ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Power is out in part of Albany around the Oakridge Drive and Slappey Blvd. intersection. 

According to the Albany Utility Board, there was an issue with a switch at the substation on Oakridge near the Albany Airport.

The power went out around 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Crews have already restored power to some parts and are working to get it restored to the rest of the outage area.
