ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A tornado warning is now in effect for Dougherty, Lee, Terrell, Calhoun, and Worth Counties.
The tornado warnings for north central Early, southeastern Clay, and south central Randolph Counties have now been canceled.
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits. It no longer seems capable of producing a tornado.
A tornado watch will remain in effect until about 4:00 a.m. for southwestern Georgia.
The National Weather Service has confirmed a debris signature near Dothan, Alabama.
The NWS also confirmed a tornado in Blakely, GA at about 12:15 a.m.
