ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany Veterinary Assistant is raising money to build bikes for foster children.

Kaley Hart started "A Ride In their Shoes" through "Together We Rise,” an organization that supports foster children.
Hart says $300 will allow her to get parts to assemble up to three bikes.
Her goal is to provide 10-bikes over the next 12-weeks.

"We take for granted materialistic things we have,” said Kaley Hart, Organizer. “Most of those foster kids don't have anything so a bike they could have their own independence. They could create great childhood memories."

Hart also plans to put together an event for the community to help assemble the bikes.
You can donate online by clicking here and here or at Bush Animal Clinic.
