The Coffee County Sheriff's Office asked for help finding an absconded sex offender, and they got it.
Sheriff Doyle Wooten says that Kyle Edward Moore was arrested about midnight Tuesday at a residence on Nead Cauley Road, acting on a tip.
He was convicted of Statutory Rape in 2011, and wasn't found at his registered address on Raven Lane, in Douglas.
Moore had active warrants for Failure to Register Address Change, Violation of Probation, Obstruction and a local State Court Bench Warrant.
