BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) -

Two people in Bainbridge ended up in jail after investigators say they sold drugs to a Bainbridge Public Safety Officer.

Investigators say Calvin Daniels apparently sent a text to the wrong number.

He asked to speak to a man named Mark to sell him Klonopin and Xanex pills.

Daniels had no idea he was talking to a public safety officer with the same name.

The cops played along, and set up a location to meet Daniels and buy the drugs.

"I think he knew he made a mistake, so his reaction wasn't a concealing reaction, it was more like a 'Wow, I cant believe I did what I did kind of thing.' you know, " said Bainbridge Public Safety Officer Mark Esquivel.

Officers arrested Daniels and Fanny Williams who was driving the car Daniels was in.

Both are charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
