Valdosta fire units responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 2700 block of Bemiss Road on Sunday with a possible entrapment. Fire crews arrived on the scene to find a three vehicle accident.
According to officials, five patients were on the scene. Four of the five patients were transported to South Georgia Medical Center. The last patient had to be flown to the hospital due to injuries considered life-threatening.
Fire officials secured the scene of any apparent hazards.
The scene was turned over to the Valdosta Police Department to complete investigation.
