ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A baseball legend will visit Albany as part of Black history month.

99-year old Roosevelt Jackson is the Oldest Living Former Negro League Professional Baseball Player, manager... scout.

Tomorrow, he'll speak and take pictures with fans. The Albany Recreation and Parks Department will also provide entertainment.

"I thought it would be great to bring him here to Albany for Black History Month," said Albany Parks an Rec supervisor Mildred Green. "A living legacy."

The free event will be tomorrow from 10 to 12 at the Albany Civic Center.
