Lee burglar runs off; Arrested Thursday

LEESBURG, GA (WALB) -

About 9:00 Tuesday morning, a Lee County resident on Long Dirt Road awoke to find a burglar rummaging through his bedroom.  The resident startled the burglar, who then bolted from the house. 

Lee Co. investigators arrested Josh Marshall at Sleep Inn on Dawson Road on Thursday.

The resident called 911, and deputies quickly responded to the scene. 

The victim described the burglar was a white man, approximately 25 to 35 years old, and was wearing a gray hoodie type shirt and had short brown hair. 

The victim was able to identify the burglar as Joshua Brandon Marshall. An arrest warrant was issued for Marshall charging him with Burglary in the First Degree.
