ASHBURN, GA (WALB) - The Ashburn Police Department is looking for help from the public, as they work to solve a credit card fraud case.
Two men went into the Shell Station at 754 East Washington Avenue on Friday, February fifth, just before 6:00 in the morning.
The men bought $251 worth of cigarettes, which in itself was unusual, but the purchase went through on the card they gave the clerk.
But police later learned that the card they used was stolen from a person in Lowndes County, then illegally used in Ashburn.
Anyone who recognizes these men is asked to notify Lt. Vevita Rudgles or Detective Jordan at the Ashburn Police Department, at 229-567-2323.
