ALBANY, GA (WALB) - If you're interested in expanding recreational trails and greenways in Albany and Dougherty County, leaders who are working on a master plan want to hear from you.
They will be holding a public hearing next week to get input as they work on the plan.
They want to know what people want and what they will use.
"What type of trails are people interested in. Running, hiking, equestrian, kayaks. We're looking at all sort of different types of trails. And then putting them together as a system so they are all linked," said Paul Forgey with the Albany Planning and Development Services.
They're developing plans for a system of trails to run from Radium Springs to Sasser.
That public meeting will be Monday from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Southwest Georgia Council on Aging on West Society Avenue.
