Cook County wrecks backed up traffic on I-75

COOK CO., GA (WALB) -

Two wrecks on Interstate 75 in Cook County caused an awful traffic jam this evening.
 The first wreck involved a Nissan Versa and GMC Sierra around Exit 49.

The Nissan Versa was attempting to pass the GMC Sierra when its tire blew out.

The Versa struck the GMC Sierra and both vehicles hit the median.
It blocked all the southbound lanes, but no one was hurt.
As the first crash was being cleared and traffic backed up... there was another crash near mile marker 50.
A Chevy impala rear ended a GMC Envoy that also hit a tractor trailer.
62 year old Charles Bostick was charged with following to closely and not wearing a seat belt.
He and another driver were injured, both were taken to Tift Regional Hospital.
