ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Jury selection is expected to begin in the trial of two people accused of using credit card skimming devices.
Leonardo Hernandez Triana and Yadina Valdes Diaz are charged with two counts of fraud in connection with access devices and five counts of aggravated identity theft.
In a traffic stop near Ashburn in October 2014, officers found two skimming devices that could be placed on card readers on gas pumps or A-T-M's to steal financial information.
Investigators also seized 20 Walmart gift cards that prosecutors say were encoded with personal financial information of 20 people.
The court has brought in several translators to deal with language differences.
