Lowndes deputies make Meth bust

LOWNDES CO., GA (WALB) -

Acting on tips, investigators of the Lowndes Co. Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant in the 6100 block of Hambrick Road, near Hahira, on Saturday.

Investigators located a quantity of Methamphetamine, valued at approximately $900,  items to used package the narcotics, and a sawed off shotgun, and arrested Patrick Kimbrell, 29, who lives at the house.

Kimbrell was taken to the Lowndes Co. Jail, and will appear in the Lowndes County Magistrate Court for an arraignment hearing this afternoon. 

Sheriff Chris Prine said, "This investigation is very much on-going and we anticipate additional charges and the arrest of other persons in connection with this case. We are thankful for the help of the citizens that led us to this operation."

Patrick Kimbrell, 29, is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, Possession of tools for the commission of a crime,  
Possession of a sawed off shotgun.
