ASHBURN, GA (WALB) -

An Ashburn woman needs a machine to help her walk again.
Dinitia Carithers has suffered six strokes since 2010 and lost the ability to walk in 2012.
Her family set up a gofund me page to help buy a Rifton Tram machine that would allow her to walk, sit, stand up, and keep her balance.
Carithers says she's anxious to get back to helping out her community.

"I've always been there for my community,” said Dinitia Carithers. “I help with Girl's Club, Girl Scouts, my church, and I did youth choir."

The machine costs $5600.
They've raised $1200 so far.
