ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Folks with disabilities in Albany showed off their moves in the name of love Thursday night.

Dancing, food and fellowship highlighted the annual Valentine's dance for people with disabilities at the Hasan Temple.

It's one of many social events the Albany Advocacy Resource Center sponsors every year.
"They want to celebrate and have some fun," said Albany ARC executive assistant Marcy McCarthy. "It's very important for our individuals to have activities that all people enjoy."

Albany ARC has assisted children and adults living with disabilities for more than 50 years.
