CORDELE, GA (WALB) - Citizens complained to police about all the traffic coming to a house on Fifth Street in Cordele, so drug agents began watching it.
They collected evidence, and executed a search warrant on Friday.
The Mid-South Narcotics Task Force and the Crisp County Sheriff's Office arrested Carlos Octavious Waters on multiple drug charges
During the search, agents and deputies found eleven plastic bags of a high potency marijuana referred to as "Loud" or "Hydro." It weighed eleven ounces, and had a street value of $3,000.00.
"They sell it for a lot more than What regular marijuana would be. It's got a high concentration of THC in it so getting that amount is good for our community," said Major Jeff Youngblood with the Crisp County Sheriff's Office.
They also got digital scales, material used to package the marijuana with to sell, and $1,525 in cash.
Waters was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
He is being held at the Crisp County Detention Center.
When he was arrested, Waters was out on bond from previous drug charges made against him in 2015.
