TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

South Georgia music fans got to see a country legend Monday night in Tifton.

The Willie Nelson and Family tour made a stop at the UGA Tifton Campus.

It was a sold out show with a crowd of more than 2,000 people.

"I feel like it's going to bring a lot more people here and it's just going to allow people to see Tifton, and maybe they'll want to move here and bring more industry," said concert goer Brooke Wilson.

"I can't thank everybody enough. It obviously shows there's a demand for entertainment in the area and we plan to bring more," explained promoter Adam Potts.

It wasn't Willie's first visit to Tifton, last July he attended a Merle Haggard concert in town.
