83 year old woman fights to keep soup kitchen open

THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

An 83 year old woman whose been feeding those in need for over 20 years is in need of help.

Mother Earlean Douglas serves over 300 people a day at her non profit organization Rescue Mission Ministries. Even though she owes over $4,000 for her utility bill, she refuses to stop feeding the hungry.

"I see the need, and I see people coming needing food," said Earlean Douglas. "I don't want to hinder or stop the work of the Lord from feeding his people."
