Two men robbed and beaten after picking up strangers

THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

Two South Georgia men were robbed at gun point after performing a good deed.

Police say Carlos Austin and Joshua Blake were taking out money from an ATM at a Thomasville convenient store on Friday.
That's when two men asked them for a ride.

One man pistol whipped Blake in the back of the head.

They dragged him out of the car and beat him. Austin was beaten on the back of his head and busted his upper lip.

The thieves drove off and got away with $600, jewelry, a phone, and clothes.

Now police are looking for two black men. One of them has long dreads and the other has a cross tattoo on his face.

If you have any information that can help police find them, contact your local law enforcement.
