Man wanted by cops after fight with step-dad

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Dougherty County police are asking the community's help finding Brandon Hilbourn, who is wanted for aggravated assault.

Investigators say Hilbourn fled Phoebe Putney Hospital last night, after being treated for a knife wound he suffered during a fight with his step father.

Investigators say Hilbourn hit his stepfather, Robert Jacobs, over the head with a small baseball bat during a family violence incident yesterday morning at Jacobs' home on Westview Drive.

Jacobs then stabbed Hilbourn with a kitchen knife. Both were hospitalized.  Jacobs remained in Intensive Care today.

If you have any information about Hilbourn's whereabouts, call CRIMESTOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
