A broken fuel line caused a mess at the flash foods on North Slappey in Albany Friday.
The Albany Fire Department says that around 1:30 this afternoon, a fuel tanker was filling the gas tanks at Flash Foods, when a pick-up truck drove through and hit the fill line and cracking it, causing 20 to 25 gallons to spill.
The tanker driver quickly turned off the values, and Albany Fire Department was called in to help contain and clean up the spill.
"On arrival of our first unit, asset the situation, we built a line to keep out of the drain system, laid down a foam blanket to keep everything confined to the parking lot," said Battalion Chief Keith Ambrose Albany Fire Department.
The tanker truck full of gas was not affected. No one was hurt.
