LEE CO., GA (WALB) - The search for a new Lee County manager is still ongoing.
So far, there have been 20 applicants and the first round of interviews wrapped up Tuesday afternoon.
Commissioners haven't picked the finalists yet.
Chairman Rick Muggridge said that he wants a visionary who is honest and hard working.
"We just want somebody that's going to invest in our community, engage in the community and work hard and be honest," said Chairman Muggridge.
Former County Manager Ron Rabun was fired for "repeated gross abuses of Lee County ordinances."
