SUMTER CO., GA (WALB) - A family burned out of their Sumter County home is thankful for recent donations.
Leroy Henderson and his two sons lost nearly everything in that fire a week ago.
But since then they've received a lot of clothes and shoes, and even some money.
And for that, they're every thankful.
The fire didn't burn everything in the house but it did damage all of their clothes.
They're still in need of more clothes, money, and even furniture if you have some you're going to throw out.
They're thankful for anything that comes their way.
"It means a lot to know that your community stands behind you 100 percent and know that there's people out there that care about you," said Henderson. "It's all love and we appreciate the much support from everybody."
The family is staying in a motel for the rest of the week.
