Thomas University hosts Jimmy John's Career Fair

THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

The Thomas University Career Center is hosting an interview career fair for Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwiches in Thomasville Tuesday.

It runs from from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Interview appointments can be scheduled by calling the Career Center at 229-226-1621 Ext. 1155.

All interviews are for positions at Jimmy John's new Thomasville location, which is expected to open soon.

The interview career fair is open to TU students, alumni and the community.

All interviewees are asked to come dressed professionally with a current résumé and cover letter, and ready for an on-site interview.

The TU Career Center also provides assistance preparing résumés for this event or for other job interviews.

TU students and the public are welcome to stop by the Career Center for assistance with cover letters, résumés and job searches.

    A Georgia mayor says it was "inexcusable and unprofessional" for two of her city's police officers to use a simulated coin toss to decide whether to arrest a woman after a traffic stop.
