Man, woman arrested for Coffee Co. home invasion

COFFEE CO., GA (WALB) -

A man and a woman are in the Coffee County jail, and law men are looking for a third person in connection with a violent home invasion last Tuesday.

Deputies were called out and found Hector Torres covered in blood. Torres told deputies that shortly after 3:00 A.M. He was awakened by someone knocking at his door.

Torres allowed Stephanie Castillo to come in. Castillo was inside asked him if he was alone, and he said he was.

That's when two men with a handgun came in. Torres said that the men pointed the gun at him, and demanded his wallet.

Torres wouldn't, and a struggle took place, and Torres' being hit in the head several times with the pistol. The intruders got his wallet and ran off.

Detectives division, were able to track down Stephanie Castillo and Angel Encarnacion, and  a third suspect is still being sought.

Castillo, 25, and  Encarnacion, 21, both of Douglas, are each charged with one count of armed robbery, and are being held in the Coffee County Jail pending a first appearance before the magistrate judge.

Officials have not said who else they are looking for in connection with this crime.
