FITZGERALD, GA (WALB) - Hundreds of people came together to mourn the death of a 20-year-old forklift operator who was killed after winning a lottery jackpot.

Craigory Burch, Jr. was killed in a home invasion early in the morning on Jan. 21.

Mourners gathered at the vigil, hosted by an area pastor at Blue and Grey Park in Fitzgerald.

Community members said they hoped for swift justice in the case.

Burch's uncle Carlos Chana said there is anger for what happened, but he mainly just wants the killers caught.

"People might say that they want to do this and do that to ones who did this," said Chana. "But God, he got the last say so. I mean yes, we've got anger but most of all I just want justice to be served like it should be served."

Investigators said they were continuing to track leads and process evidence.

So far no arrests have been made, and no suspects were named.
