Decatur County recovers stolen tractor and trailers

DECATUR CO., GA (WALB) -

Decatur County deputies have arrested three men, Derrick Nichols, Jason Ginnaris and Blake Lewis, on charges of theft by receiving stolen property.

Investigators say a tractor, lawnmower, and some trailers were stolen in November or December and do not know who stole the property.

Officials say Nichols and Ginnaris were arrested earlier this month. Lewis turned himself in on Wednesday.

Another man, Kevin Helms, is charged with conspiracy to commit theft by receiving stolen property. He turned himself in last week.

An earlier version of this story incorrectly reported the charges against Blake Lewis, Jason Ginnaris, Derrick Nichols and Kevin Helms. Lewis, Ginnaris, and Nichols have been charged with theft by receiving stolen property. Helms has been charged with conspiracy to commit theft by receiving stolen property.
