Autopsy results revealed the death of a Colquitt county inmate was caused by a drug overdose.
Stacey Gay, 48, died while in a holding cell inside the jail in September of 2015.
GBI Assistant Special Agent in charge Bahan Rich said Gay died due to a toxic amount of methamphetamine in his body.
He had been arrested for felony obstruction and criminal trespassing.
