VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - On Saturday, January 9 around Midnight, a Lowndes County Sheriff's Office deputy attempted to stop a Dodge Durango, after noticing the vehicle had defective equipment.
The driver did not immediately stop, but when he did, two me jumped out and ran off. The driver, Steven Davis and the passenger, Michael Wright were found hiding in a nearby back yard.
When deputies searched the vehicle they located approximately 4 grams of Molly, also called Alpha PVP that was packaged for sale and digital scales.
Davis, 34, who lives n Bethune Street, and Wright, 28, who lives on Lakeland Avenue, was taken to the Lowndes County Jail and has since appeared in the Lowndes County Magistrate Court for an arraignment hearing.
Davis, is charged with Possession of Alpha PVP with the intent to distribute, Possession of tools for the commission of a crime, Obstruction of an officer
Driving with a suspended license, and Defective equipment.
Wright is charged with Possession of Alpha PVP with the intent to distribute, Possession of tools for the commission of a crime, and Obstruction of an officer.
