MITCHELL CO., GA (WALB) - The EMA Director doesn't plan to make any changes after looking into complaints from a flood victim.
Jeaneen Harrell told us she was upset that no one from the county warned her she needed to evacuate before flood water from the Flint River got into her home.
EMA Director Clark Harrell says the sheriff's office and fire department were monitoring the area as flood waters rose.
He says people who live in flood-prone areas should know when to get out.
He says he did not receive any reports about flooding problems from people in the area, and he doesn't see the need to change any protocols.
