One of WALB's Most Wanted suspects arrested

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Police say a teenaged suspected they've been looking for since late November is now in the Dougherty County jail. Demetrius Marquez Davis was considered to be armed and dangerous.

Officers were looking for the 19-year-old Davis for armed robbery. He was featured on Most Wanted at the end of 2015.

Albany Police reported that Davis robbed Kayla Daniels at gunpoint using a rifle on November 24th in 1000 block of Cedar Avenue.

Davis robbed Daniels of the cell phone she was planning to sell to him, and then went through her vehicle and stole cash and two laptops.

Davis also had active warrants for armed robbery and entering autos, connected to the incident with Daniels.

He lives on Yorktown Avenue in Albany.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Albany Police at 229-431-2100 or CrimeSTOPPERS at 229-436-TIPS.
